March 24, 2026 (IMP): Security forces from the Indo-Myanmar border arrested 10 active cadres of PREPAK (RA), including 5 juveniles, on Monday. The five juveniles among the arrested are now being treated according to procedures laid under the Juvenile Justice Act.
The arrest was made between border pillar numbers 77 and 82 under the jurisdiction of Moreh Police Station in Tengnoupal district.
The arrested cadres, excluding the five juveniles, have been identified as Keithellakpam Shanjit Singh alias Loichingba (34) of Phougakchao Mamang Leikai and Salam Rohit Meitei alias Panthung (35) of Ningthoukhong Mamang Leikai, Bishnupur district; Khaidem Jackson Singh alias Wangamba (27) of Waikhong Keiram Leikai, Kakching district; Kshetrimayum Inaosana Singh alias Kumarjeet (36) of Awang Leikinthabi Makha Leikai, Imphal West district; and Senjam Thoibinao Meitei (36) of Keikon Makha Leikai, Imphal East district.
