Security forces arrested three opium traffickers with 11 kg of opium at the 7 AR Checkpost in Behiang, Churachandpur district of Manipur, on Tuesday night.
The arrested persons have been identified as Thangkhanthawng (33) of Kannan Veng, Limminthang alias L. Khongsai (34) of Moreh Ward No. 9, currently staying at Tuibong, and Hangjalet alias Letneu (31) of K. Nivangphai Village, Churachandpur district.
Along with the seized 11 kg of opium, the police also recovered two two-wheeler vehicles used in trafficking activities, along with two mobile phones.
