Feb. 19, 2025 : Security forces arrested four persons on Wednesday—two PLA and two PREPAK (PRO) members—from four different locations in the valley areas of Manipur.
The arrested PLA members have been identified as Thokchom Ajit Singh @ Nanao (40) and Waikhom Ibungo Meitei @ Mangal (26). Thokchom Ajit was arrested from the Leimaram Canal area under Nambol Police Station, Bishnupur District, while Waikhom Ibungo was arrested from Hatta Golapati near Public Hospital under Porompat Police Station, Imphal East.
The two arrested PREPAK (PRO) members have been identified as Thokchom Sanathoi Singh @ Chongthoiba (24), who was arrested near the Mahindra Showroom, Okshongbung, along Tiddim Road under Moirang Police Station, Bishnupur District, while the other, Salam Sitoljit Singh @ Seventy @ Sevenkumar (36), was arrested from Uripok Khumanthem Leikai under Imphal Police Station, Imphal West District.
