In a major reshuffle, the Manipur Police Department has issued an order transferring and posting 24 inspectors and subedars to new locations within the department. The order, signed by Director General of Police Rajiv Singh, is effective immediately and is in the public interest.
The transfers and postings are part of a routine administrative exercise aimed at ensuring effective policing across the state. The affected officers have been assigned new roles and responsibilities, with some being promoted to new positions while others have been transferred to different locations.
According to the order:
- Khaidem Rajen Khanganba, Inspector, has been transferred from OC Moirang PS to CID (Tech), while
- Oinam Tikendra Singh, Inspector, has been posted as OC Moirang PS from CID (SB).
- Nongthombam Samson Singh, Inspector, has been promoted and transferred from BPR to OC Phougakchao Ikhai PS.
- Subhaschandra Konthoujam, Inspector, has moved from OC Phougakchao Ikhai PS to CID (SB), and
- Yumnam Motilal Singh, Inspector, has been transferred from Inspector Vigilance to OC CDO Bishnupur.
- Y. Shaktishen Singh, Subedar, has been transferred from OC CDO Bishnupur to 8 MR.
- Md. Jakaur Rahman, Inspector, has been posted as CAR TBL from OC Waikhong PS, and
- Akoijam Sanathoi Singh, Inspector, has been transferred from OC Hiyanglam PS to BPR.
- Okram Jotin Singh, Inspector, has been promoted and transferred from BPR to OC Waikhong PS.
- Karam Budhachandra Khuman, Inspector, has been transferred from CAR Kakching to OC Hiyanglam PS.
- Karam Abhijeet Singh, Inspector, has been transferred from OC Heingang PS to CID (CB), and
- Haobam Sachindra Singh, Inspector, has been posted as OC Heingang PS from CID (Tech).
- Kilong Seiminthang Brandon, Inspector, has moved from IUCAW CCP to OC Chawla PS.
- G. Jangkholal Kipgen, Inspector, has been promoted and transferred from CCP to IUCAW CCP.
- James Lianzagou Vaiphei, Inspector, has been transferred from CAR Pherzawl to OC Singngat PS, while
- Kh. Thangzaial Vaiphei, Inspector, has been posted as CAR Pherzawl from OC Singngat PS.
- R. Vareingam, Inspector, has moved from OC Chassad PS to CAR Ukhrul.
- Jonah Raphuba Chawang, Inspector, has been transferred from CAR Kamjong to OC Mao PS.
- Worchipem Ngalung, Inspector, has been transferred from CAR Mao PS to OC Chassad PS.
- Lutminthang Kipgen, Inspector, has been posted as CAR Kamjong from CAR Ukhrul.
- Chongtham Bikram Khaba Nganba, Inspector, has been transferred from CID (CB) and attached with the Human Rights Section, PHQ.
- W. Anju Singh, Subedar JC.No.513, has been transferred from 2 MR (attached with PHQ, i/c Establishment Section) to 5 MR.
- A. Jiten Singh, Subedar, has been posted to 3 IRB from 2 MR.
This mass transfer underscores the department’s commitment to enhancing administrative efficiency and law enforcement readiness across Manipur.
