March 31, 2026: The 4th Moirang Pana Mukna Kangjei Changdamnaba was inaugurated today at Moirang Chingei Lampak, marking the beginning of a vibrant celebration of Manipur’s traditional sports and cultural heritage.
The event is being jointly organised by Keke Moirang Kangleiron Kanba Lup and the Manipur Mukna Association. Minister for Home Affairs Govindas Konthoujam and MLA of Moirang Thongam Shanti Singh attended the inaugural function as dignitaries, among others.
As part of the inaugural day events, Mukna Kangjei and Yubi Lakpi were showcased. In the opening match, Khunkha Pana defeated Khunthak Pana 6–3.
Winners and participants were later felicitated with trophies and cash prizes, setting an enthusiastic tone for the rest of the tournament.
