DEC 20, 2025 (IMP): The All Manipur Muslim Girl Students’ Union (AMMGSU) elected its new office bearers for the year 2026–2027 on Saturday. The girl students’ body also adopted its constitution and held a reformation programme at its office located in Imphal.
From the 15 office bearers elected, Rahamani Cheshaba was elected President; Neha Mayangmayum as Vice-President; Ruksana Thoubal Mayum as General Secretary; Buyamayum Zabin Bahar as Joint Secretary; Makakmayum Suhana as Finance Secretary; Samiya Maibam as Academic Affairs Secretary; Makakmayum Lilyma as Cultural & Event Secretary; Makakmayum Reihana as Publicity Secretary; and Korimayum Sadika as Campus Coordinator Secretary.
Rizwana Khullakpam, Yangkhubam Sadiya, M. M. Arbiya, Rubina Khutheibam, Meinam Rabiya, and Y. Adila were elected as Executive Members.
Prof. Dr. Chanam Manglen Singh served as the external observer of the election, while Advocate Dr. Rabi Khan Md. Nasir Khan, Dr. Jiyaur Rahman, Shaheda Pravin, Samim Ahmed Shah, Prof. Raheijuddin Sheikh, Dr. K. Javed Mehedi, and Rukshar Chaudhary served as members of the Election Committee.
