AMSTA Announces Squad for 28th Sub-Junior National Sepaktakraw Championship

30 players selected from leading clubs; training to begin February 9 at Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium

Imphal, January 26, 2026: The All Manipur Sepaktakraw Association (AMSTA) has announced the selection of 30 players and officials for the 28th Sub-Junior National Sepaktakraw Championship, scheduled to be held at the Mega Sports Complex, Ranchi, Jharkhand, from March 23 to 27, 2026.

The selected players include Ng. Tomthin (HUDIC), W. Dayananda (PUC), Kh. Ilesh (HUDIC), H. Bidyasagar (SWC), Ng. Punshiba (SAI-RC), S. Roshan (PUC), E. Romesh (SWC), Ng. Sakhensana (HUDIC), N. Akash (YAWA), S. Pritamjit (YAWA), E. Premson (SWC), Ch. Bashil (PUC), A. Lingjel (IMSUC), Ch. Bimax (PUC), O. Alex (SAI-RC), Pangambam Leingakpi (IMSUC), Khwairakpam Puja (SAI-RC), Saikhom Alley (PUC), Chungkham Arica (YAWA), Elengbam Stela (YAWA), Khaidem Shelly (PUC), Pangambam Ajoka (IMSUC), Elangbam Dainela (SAI-RC), Fancya Ningombam (YAWA), Takhelmayum Thoithoibi (PUC), Jesica Khangembam (YAWA), Laishram Silky (IMSUC), Elangbam Lingjenthoibi (YAWA), Chongtham Rosia (PUC), and P. Sapana (YAWA).

The boys’ team will be coached by P. Durjit Singh and Kh. Niken, while Th. Memi Devi and W. Premjit Meitei will guide the girls’ team. Team managers are M. Somorjit for the boys and Ch. Rojen Meitei for the girls.

Selected players are required to join the Regular Coaching Programme starting February 9, 2026, at Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium, Imphal, reporting at 7:30 AM to the General Secretary of AMSTA, Ch. Geskant.

The announcement reflects AMSTA’s focus on structured preparation and professional management, providing sub-junior players with a strong platform to compete at the national championship.
