A delegation led by BD Ningwar, President of Anal Lenruwl Tangpi (ALT), met Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla at Raj Bhavan, Imphal, today to discuss pressing issues affecting Chandel District.
During the meeting, the team submitted a memorandum detailing major concerns related to education, healthcare, infrastructure, road connectivity, and youth welfare. They emphasized the need for prompt scholarship disbursement to students and called for efforts to preserve the local language and cultural heritage of the Anal community.
The delegation also highlighted the importance of improving administrative coordination among departments to strengthen governance and ensure balanced development across Chandel District. They sought the Governor’s intervention to address these long-standing challenges and support equitable progress in the area.
