In a proactive initiative, the Meitei Society, in collaboration with local authorities, conducted an Anti-Rabies Vaccination Drive for dogs and cats residing at the Kwakta Sericulture Training Institute Prefabricated House, accommodating displaced persons from Churachandpur and Bishnupur districts. The vaccination drive, held today, successfully administered anti-rabies shots to 38 animals, ensuring their health and safety.

The drive aimed to mitigate the risk of rabies among the resident animals, addressing concerns raised by the displaced community members. Representatives from the Meitei Society expressed their commitment to continuing such health interventions to safeguard both human and animal welfare in the locality.
