AR CELEBRATES 556TH GURU NANAK PRAKASH UTSAV WITH DEVOTION AND COMMUNAL HARMONY AT MANTRIPUKHRI

Imphal, 09 November 2025 — Assam Rifles commemorated the 556th Guru Nanak Prakash Utsav with deep reverence and community spirit by organising a ‘Sehaj Pathh’ followed by Guru ka Langar at Mantripukhri Garrison, Imphal. The event witnessed the participation of approximately 900 people, including officials and members of the Manipur Sikh Community, who came together in a collective celebration of spiritual unity and harmony.

The observance of Guru Nanak’s Prakash Utsav reflected Assam Rifles’ enduring commitment to upholding spiritual values and fostering inclusive traditions that strengthen the bond between the Armed Forces and the local populace. The Sehaj Pathh set a serene and reflective tone for the gathering, which was followed by the serving of Guru ka Langar, symbolising the Guru’s teachings of equality, humility, and selfless service.

The sangat from the Manipur Sikh Community expressed heartfelt appreciation for the initiative and lauded the efforts of Assam Rifles in promoting communal harmony and mutual respect. The event stood as a testament to the ethos of universal brotherhood and compassion, values that Assam Rifles continues to uphold through its outreach and engagement with diverse communities.
