Assam Rifles, under its flagship initiative Operation Sadbhavana, organised the distribution of essential educational infrastructure items at D. Zalenbung High School, Chandel district, today.
A contingent of officials and troops from the force handed over desks, benches, and other classroom furniture to the school authorities, aimed at strengthening the existing academic facilities and creating a more conducive learning environment for students.
The programme drew enthusiastic participation from the local community, with nearly 200 villagers joining school staff and students to witness the occasion. Their presence underscored the spirit of cooperation and goodwill between the force and the people of the region.
