March 1, 2025: Assam Rifles has seized Yaba Tablets (Meth) worth 9 Crore, suspected to be smuggled out from Myanmar.
The operation was carried out with the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence on the 27th of February at Teliamura in Tripura, and a person has been arrested along with the contraband—90,000 Yaba Tablets.
The recovered contraband and the apprehended individual were handed over to DRI for further legal action.
