March 26, 2025 : In a stride towards honoring excellence in sports and leadership, the Government of Manipur has appointed Naorem Roshibina Devi, Arjuna Awardee and celebrated Wushu player, as the Deputy Superintendent of Police (Sports).
The appointment, personally handed over by Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla, marks a pivotal moment in recognizing her stellar achievements on national and international platforms, including multiple medals in the Asian Games and various prestigious tournaments. Roshibina Devi’s dedication to sports and her role as a beacon of inspiration to younger generations have been duly acknowledged by this prestigious appointment.
Governor Bhalla conveyed his heartfelt congratulations, expressing confidence in her future endeavors as she assumes this new role.
