Arms, Ammo, and Explosive Items Recovered from Bishnupur District

March 29, 2025: In a search operation conducted in the Naranseina and Sunusiphai village area, under Moirang Police Station of Bishnupur District, security forces recovered eight weapons, including .303 Sniper Rifles, ammunition, and explosive items.

The recovered arms include one Excalibur Rifle with two empty magazines, one Carbine Machine Gun with one empty magazine, one .303 Sniper Rifle with one empty magazine, another .303 Sniper Rifle, one 7.65 mm Pistol with one empty magazine, one Russian-made Pistol with an empty magazine, and two INSAS LMGs with empty magazines.

The recovered ammunition includes two .32 live rounds, twenty 7.62 mm CTN live rounds, fifty .38 live rounds, and ten .303 live rounds.

According to the police, explosives and other recovered items include one No. 36 Hand Grenade, one Hand Grenade detonator, fifteen packets of Power Gel (801) explosive, 32 mm 200 gm along with a fuse, two IEDs weighing approximately 3.420 kg, seventeen BP Helmets, twelve Tear Gas Shells (SR), six Tear Gas Shells (LR), five Tear Gas Shells (Normal), twenty-six BP plates, ten BP jackets, one KENWOOD wireless set with two chargers, three BAOFENG WT sets, and one tactical magazine pouch.
