In a successful operation near Gwarok Hill Range close to Bengi village under Nongpok Sekmai Police Station, Thoubal District, security forces recovered a cache of arms and ammunition.
The seized items include one .303 Rifle with magazine, four No. 36 hand grenades (without detonators), one improvised “Pompi Gun” (mortar), two INSAS live rounds, one INSAS LMG magazine, one camouflage pant, and one camouflage shirt bearing a PLA insignia. Further investigation is underway.
