Security forces conducted extensive search operations and area domination exercises across fringe and vulnerable regions in the hill and valley districts of Manipur.
During an operation in the general area of Taphou Kuki village under Senapati Police Station, Senapati District, a significant cache of arms and ammunition was recovered. The items seized include two Bolt Action Single Barrel Rifles, one .22 Rifle with a magazine, one 9 mm Pistol with a magazine, two rounds of 9 mm live ammunition, seven rounds of .22 live ammunition, and eighteen empty cartridges of 12 bore. Operations continue as part of sustained efforts to maintain peace and security in the region.
