Security forces recovered a large cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives from the general area of Langol Usoi Makhong in Imphal West district, under Lamphel Police Station, this evening.
The items recovered include one .303 rifle with a magazine, one 9mm pistol with a magazine along with eight live rounds, one .32 pistol with a magazine, two HE hand grenades with two detonators, 208 rounds of .303 live ammunition, seven high-density cartridge live rounds, one 12 bore ammunition, two SLR magazines, four .303 rifle charging plates, two tear smoke shells, one rubber bullet, and one tactical knife.
Additionally, one bulletproof helmet (patka), one bulletproof vest, and two WT sets with chargers were also recovered.
