The Assam Rifles partnered with the Editors’ Guild of Manipur to spearhead a tree plantation drive at Olympic Park, Sangaithel Hillock in Imphal West.
The event, graced by Assam Rifles officials, Editors’ Guild members, CRPF, and Forest Department representatives, aimed to bolster Imphal’s green cover and ecological sustainability.
Led by Khogendhra Khongdrom and Rupa Chandra of EGM, alongside Bhakta of AMWJU, the initiative planted 200 saplings, emphasising the vital role of trees in ecological balance and climate resilience.
Informative sessions highlighted environmental stewardship, uniting participants in safeguarding nature for future generations.
