Feb 28, 2025 : Emphasizing the power of science and technology in shaping the future, Assam Rifles celebrated National Science Day in Tamenglong and Noney districts of Manipur. The event aimed to foster scientific curiosity among students and promote innovation for nation-building.
A Science Project Competition on the theme “Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science & Innovation for Viksit Bharat” was organized at Apou Kading School, Tamei, Tamenglong District, where 48 students and teachers participated. Meanwhile, in Khongsang village, Noney District, J.R. Memorial English School hosted a Poster-Making Competition, drawing 30 enthusiastic participants.
Both competitions were judged by local school teachers, and winners were awarded for their creativity and innovative ideas. The events provided a platform for students to showcase their scientific knowledge and artistic skills, reinforcing the importance of scientific thinking in everyday life.
