March 25, 2025 : Assam Rifles celebrated its 190th Raising Day by honoring the selfless service and invaluable contributions of its esteemed veterans through a Veterans Outreach Campaign. Assam Rifles extended its gratitude to eight veterans of the Assam Rifles unit hailing from Imphal, Thoubal, Kakching, and Bishnupur districts of Manipur. These veterans were honored with a token of appreciation in recognition of their dedicated service to the Nation and the Force.
The veterans were also sensitized about various welfare schemes, educational initiatives, and employment opportunities available for their children and dependents.
