The festivities kicked off with a friendly volleyball match, uniting Rifle Women of Assam Rifles with local women in a display of teamwork and empowerment. A thrilling football showdown between local youth and Assam Rifles added to the festive air, fostering camaraderie through healthy competition.
Highlighting the event was a motivational movie screening, emphasizing the values of friendship and emotional resilience. Students eagerly participated in a friendship band-making competition, crafting colorful bands symbolizing trust and togetherness.
In a green initiative, Assam Rifles spearheaded a tree plantation drive themed “Ek Ped Dosti Ke Naam,” where troops and villagers planted saplings symbolizing bonds of friendship and sustainability.
