March 5, 2025: In a joint operation, Assam Rifles, along with Manipur Police and the Border Security Force (BSF), successfully destroyed 40 acres of illegal poppy cultivation in Khudai Khullen, Tengnoupal district, on Tuesday.
The operation was part of the ongoing efforts to curb the illegal drug trade and prevent the spread of narcotics in the region. Security forces have been actively conducting such raids to dismantle illicit plantations and enforce strict measures against drug-related activities.
