March 21, 2025 : Assam Rifles, under Operation Sadbhavana, has inaugurated a newly constructed community hall in Khoirom village, Thoubal district. This initiative aims to enhance local infrastructure and provide the community with a dedicated space for social gatherings, meetings, and cultural events.
The event was attended by Village Chief Mr. Kumar Singh, Khoirom Secretary Mr. Susin Singh, along with members Mr. M. Inao, Mr. T. Joykumar Singh, and Mr. Joy Saikhom. Officials from Assam Rifles and approximately 74 villagers were also present.
The project highlights Assam Rifles’ commitment to community development and public welfare. The new facility is expected to strengthen social cohesion and improve sanitation standards in the area. Local residents and community leaders expressed their gratitude for Assam Rifles’ continued efforts in rural development and civil-military relations.
