March 14, 2026 (KAKCHING): As a part of the ongoing Operation Sadbhavana initiative, the Assam Rifles, under the aegis of Headquarters IGAR (South), inaugurated a bakery shop at Serou Village, equipped with professional-grade appliances and designed to empower the local population through specialised culinary training and retail management.
The opening ceremony was graced by senior officials of the Assam Rifles along with troops, marking a significant step towards strengthening community resilience and economic self-reliance in the region.
