Feb 3, 2025: Assam Rifles, deployed at Headquarters Veng Churachandpur, organised a weapon display programme for NCC cadets attending the Annual Training Camp in Churachandpur. The event aimed to familiarise the cadets with the diverse range of weapons used by the Indian Armed Forces.
A total of 98 NCC cadets, including 82 girls and 16 boys, participated in the programme. The display featured a variety of weaponry, followed by an interactive session where cadets gained valuable insights into the evolution and significance of the showcased weapons.
The initiative forms part of Assam Rifles’ ongoing efforts to instill values of patriotism, leadership, and social responsibility among the youth. By engaging with the NCC cadets, Assam Rifles seeks to inspire and motivate the future leaders of the nation.
