Assam Rifles Organize Tiranga Rally to Mark Operation Sindoor and Independence Day

In a show of patriotism and national pride, the Assam Rifles, under the aegis of South IGAR, organized a Tiranga Bike Rally on Thursday to commemorate the success of Operation Sindoor and to mark India’s 79th Independence Day.

The rally was flagged off from the iconic Marjing Polo Statue at Heingang Ching in Imphal East by Major General Ravroop Singh, IGAR (South), in the presence of senior Assam Rifles officers. Covering nearly 30 kilometers, the procession traversed multiple locations across Imphal East before concluding at the Keithelmanbi Garrison in Imphal West.

The event highlighted patriotism, unity, and the spirit of celebrating both national victories and Independence Day. Assam Rifles personnel actively participated, demonstrating solidarity and commitment to the nation. The rally not only honored the bravery of forces involved in Operation Sindoor but also encouraged citizens to celebrate the values of freedom and national pride.
