Feb. 1, 2025: The Assam Rifles organized an engaging weapon display event for NCC cadets at Pallel in Kakching District, aimed at fostering awareness about the Indian Armed Forces and encouraging interest in national service.
The event saw the participation of 18 girl NCC cadets, accompanied by three staff members. The cadets were introduced to a variety of advanced weapons and equipment used by the Assam Rifles, gaining valuable insight into their functionalities.
During the display, the cadets had the unique opportunity to handle the weapons, offering them firsthand experience in weapon handling and an understanding of their capabilities. This interactive experience not only familiarized the cadets with modern military technology but also sparked enthusiasm among them, inspiring some to consider pursuing careers in the Armed Forces.
The event successfully contributed to deepening the cadets’ interest in the defense sector while promoting a sense of national pride and duty.
