In a proud achievement, Rifleman Basu Khare of 1 Assam Rifles, representing the Director General Assam Rifles (DGAR) team, clinched the Gold Medal at the Senior National Karate Championship held in Hyderabad.
With this remarkable win, Rifleman Khare has also secured a spot in the Indian Karate Team — a significant milestone for both the athlete and Assam Rifles.
