Arambai Tenggol (AT) has clarified that it has no involvement in any illegal activities and remains strictly dedicated to indigenous, cultural, and social causes.
In a statement issued by Laishram Robason, Control Room Operator of AT General Headquarters, the organisation asserted that any member found engaging in unlawful acts will be held solely accountable for their actions and will not be associated with AT.
The clarification comes in response to reports of Manipur Police arresting two individuals, Laishram Tondomba Singh and Tourangbam Amarjit Meitei, said to be AT members, along with weapons.
AT maintained that the incident was carried out in their “personal interests” and bore no connection to the organisation.
