An awareness programme focusing on the prevention of child marriage and child protection was held today at Machi High School, Tengnoupal. The event was part of the nationwide Bal Vivah Mukta Bharat campaign.
Teachers, students, local leaders, and other key stakeholders participated in the programme aimed at educating the community about the harmful effects of child marriage and promoting a child-safe environment.
The event was jointly organized by the Foundation of Rural Development (FORD), Machi, and the District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Tengnoupal.
