Security forces in Manipur arrested a native of Bihar with 2.041 kg of suspected heroin from the Mao Check Post on Thursday.
The arrested person has been identified as Anshu Raj (27) of Purani Police Line, MP Bagh Ara, District Bhojpur, Bihar.
The arrest was made while frisking and checking an outgoing passenger vehicle, and the contraband items, in two separate packets—one weighing 1.021 kg and the other 1.020 kg—were found concealed in his belongings.
