Nov 14, 2025 (Agencies): The BJP on Friday hailed the NDA’s performance in the Bihar Assembly polls as “historic,” saying people have once again expressed their trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “development-focused” politics.
The NDA is headed for a blockbuster win in Bihar, with official trends showing the ruling bloc leading in more than 200 seats in the 243-member assembly.
Sources in the BJP said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s GYAN — Gareeb (poor), Yuva (youth), Annadata (farmers), and Naari (women) — proved instrumental in the NDA’s record victory in the state.
The GYAN brought a significant shift in Bihar’s politics, with people, especially women and youth, rising above caste to vote for continued development, the agency reported.
People also expressed confidence in the schemes of the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar-led government for women, youth, the extremely backward, the backward, and the deprived sections of Bihar, the sources added, agency reports said.
