The Patriotic Poem Recital will be based on the theme “Anglo-Manipur War, 1891,” whereas the Painting Competition will focus on the theme “Chahi Taret Khuntakpa.” Participants will be grouped according to their classes and age, including students from Class III to V, Class VI to VIII, Class IX to XII, as well as an open category.

Winners in each section will be honoured with attractive cash prizes, with first prizes ranging from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 7,000, second prizes ranging from Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 5,000, and third prizes of Rs. 3,000. According to the Athoubasingi Ningsing-Tha Observation Committee of the BJP Manipur Pradesh, the competitions are being organised not only to remember the sacrifice of the forefathers who fought valiantly against colonial rule but also to instill patriotism, creativity, and historical awareness among the younger generation.
