Feb 27, 2025 : The NDA has the required strength to form a government that is accepted by the people of Manipur, stated BJP MLA Kh Ibomcha, appealing to the people to support creating an atmosphere conducive to the formation of a new state government.
The Lamlai MLA made this remark on the sidelines of an inspection of ongoing and upcoming road construction works in villages of his constituency.
Recalling the resignation of CM N Biren, followed by the current President’s Rule, he informed that the ruling MLAs are doing their best to end the President’s Rule, which has kept the Assembly in suspended animation.
Expressing hope that the Centre will facilitate the formation of a new government soon, the MLA also lamented the opposition parties who had earlier demanded the President’s Rule but are now calling for its end.
