Nov 12, 2025: The BJP National General Secretary BL Santosh, who arrived in the state capital along with NE In-Charge Dr. Sambit Patra this noon, has now chaired a close-door meeting at Thambal Shunglen (State BJP Head Office) in Imphal.
The meeting, which is currently underway at the BJP State Office, is attended by all BJP MLAs from the valley districts except MLA L. Rameshwar of Keirao AC, who had not arrived at the office till the time of filing this report.
The meeting is highly speculated to discuss the current state scenario and agendas related to the people’s growing demand for the formation of a new popular government in Manipur. The BJP National leaders are also expected to hold a separate meeting with their alliance partners after this meet.
BJP State President A. Sharda Devi also attended the meeting. Legislators who attended the meeting include Former CM N. Biren Singh; Assembly Speaker Th. Satyabrata Singh; MLA Govindas Konthoujam; MLAs Sapam Ranjan, Kh. Ibomcha, Th. Shyamkumar, Kh. Raghumani, Heikham Dingo, Kh. Joykishan, Karam Shyam, Th. Radheshyam, Y. Khemchand, P. Brojen, Usham Deben, Y. Radheshyam, Sapam Kunjakeshor, Th. Arun, Th. Robindro, K. Robindro, Asab Uddin, RK Imo, L. Sushindro, Th. Basanta, S. Rajen, Sanasam Premchandra, Th. Biswajit, SS Olish, Dingalung Gangmei, and S. Kebi, who could be seen arriving at the State Office for the meeting.
