Suspense ran high in the political scenario in Manipur after BJP National Spokesperson and North-East in-charge MP Sambit Patra, who arrived in Imphal this morning, is now currently meeting Manipur Legislative Assembly Speaker Th. Satyabrata Singh at his residence located at Bheigyabati Leikai in Imphal East.
Before landing at the Speaker’s place in Bamon Leikai, the BJP leader also called on Manipur Ex-CM N. Biren Singh at his residence this afternoon, located at Heingang in the Imphal East district of Manipur. After meeting with Ex-CM N. Biren Singh, the BJP leader drove straight down to the Speaker’s place.
Earlier, soon after landing at Imphal Airport, the BJP NE in-charge headed to Churachandpur District of Manipur and met two MLAs there, namely MLA LM Kaute and Thanglong AC MLA Vungzagin Valte at his residence. While visiting the residence of MLA Vungzagin Valte, the BJP leader was accompanied by MLA LM Kaute and talked with both for over 30 minutes.
Now, speculation runs high that the BJP NE in-charge may also meet other BJP leaders and MLAs later.
