As part of its continued public welfare activities, the Ningol Club today organised a blood donation camp at the District Hospital, Thoubal. The drive was jointly held with the hospital’s Blood Centre & Transfusion Unit and conducted under the aegis of the Federation of Civil Society Organisations (FOCS).
Ningol Club Secretary, Moirangthem Inunganbi Chanu, said that the donation camp was held under the theme “Athouba Singda Katchaba Ee,” honouring donors who contribute to saving precious lives. She stated that the club will continue to support initiatives that strengthen health services and community welfare.
The camp witnessed participation from various social organisations, including Econetwork Manipur and Humanity Service Foundation, while representatives of Heirok Apunba Club also extended support. A total of 25 members of the Ningol Club donated blood during the drive.
The organisers expressed gratitude to all supporting organisations and donors for helping promote voluntary blood donation for society’s welfare.
