Thoubal, Jan 04: A male dead body was found on National Highway 102 near Khongjom Sangai-khong (culvert), under Khongjom Police Station in Thoubal district, on Sunday.
According to police reports, the body was spotted around 3 pm by passersby, who informed the authorities. The deceased’s body showed signs of a possible drug overdose, with multiple needle marks on the right hand.
Police are investigating the incident and trying to identify the deceased. Further details are awaited, and necessary steps are being taken to probe the matter.
