March 5, 2025: As part of the humanitarian initiative under Operation Sadbhavna, the Assam Rifles has successfully installed a borewell at Purum Tampak Village in Kakching District, ensuring a permanent and continuous water supply for the villagers.
The inauguration ceremony, held today, was graced by SDC Waikhong M. Binbin Singh, Major Shivam Sachan from 46 Assam Rifles, along with the Secretary and Village Chief of Purum Tampak. The project aims to address the water scarcity issues faced by the village and provide a sustainable solution for their daily needs.
Assam Rifles, under Operation Sadbhavna, also known as Operation Goodwill, has been actively working on various community development projects, reaffirming its commitment to national integration and public welfare.
