In a push to strengthen peace, unity, and youth development, the Border Security Force (BSF) Manipur has upgraded the infrastructure of 15 local sports clubs and associations under its latest Civic Action Programme (CAP). The initiative, aimed at deepening the “Force–Civil” relationship, focused on creating better sporting environments rather than just distributing items.
As part of the programme, the BSF revitalised community playfields and training centres across the state, ensuring young athletes in remote areas gain access to improved facilities. Essential sports gear, including volleyball nets, balls, and performance kits, was also distributed to encourage wider youth participation in sports.
The programme concluded with a friendly volleyball match between BSF personnel and local youth, fostering trust and camaraderie. Community leaders and club representatives expressed gratitude for the BSF’s proactive outreach, noting its role in guiding young people toward positive pursuits.
