Along with the rest of the states, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Khangabok Mandal, Thoubal district, organised a centenary celebration event of RSS serving India for the welfare of people on Thursday at Khangabok Awang Mamang Leikai playground.
At the event, RSS Manipur Prant Pracharak Shri Mrityunjay was the chief guest, and RSS Khangabok Mandal’s sympathiser Laishram Subha Singh attended as president.
Speaking at the event, Prant Pracharak Mrityunjay said that the resolve RSS took to serve society every year is continuing strongly even today as it enters its 100th year. He noted that RSS has been undertaking many programmes for social upliftment since its inception till now, garnering respect. Mrityunjay expressed that RSS’s ideology is spreading increasingly across various parts of Bharat.
The event also included Sattra Puja along with the hoisting of the RSS flag. Floral tributes were paid to the founders of RSS. Several members of Khangabok Mandal took part in the programme.
