The much-anticipated 9th Mr. Thoubal District Body Building Contest 2025 witnessed an electrifying display of strength, aesthetics, and sportsmanship today at the Sandabung Community Hall, Athokpam.
Organised by the Body Builders Association of Thoubal in collaboration with the Phura Keithel Development Committee (PKDC), the event was held under the aegis of the All Manipur Body Builders Association.
Athletes from 11 gyms across Thoubal District came together to compete across four intense categories, namely Physically Challenged, Men’s Sports Physique, Junior, and Senior Bodybuilding.
Winners of the Day:
Physically Challenged Category: Naorem Jayenta Singh of Royal Fitness Academy, Thoubal claimed the top honour, inspiring the crowd with his sheer grit and determination.
Men’s Sports Physique Category: Pibathoi Moirangthem from Muscle 360, Khongjom dazzled the judges with his sculpted physique, clinching 1st place in a highly competitive lineup.
Junior Category: Naresh Sougrakpam Meitei of Evolution Fitness, Athokpam lifted the champion’s trophy with a dominating stage presence and youthful energy.
Senior Category: Chingkheinganba Athokpam of Sajel Culture, Athokpam took the coveted 1st place in the senior division, showcasing a perfect blend of muscle mass and symmetry.
The contest witnessed participation from 26 bodybuilders with Aadhaar address from Thoubal District, promoting fitness culture and camaraderie among the local youth.
