Chief Minister N. Biren Singh has announced the construction of a Mini Sports Complex at Kumbi High School Ground, Terakhong, at a cost of ₹2.5 crore. Addressing a public interaction event at the venue, he assured various development projects, including the upgradation of Kumbi Market Shed, urgent repairs of Kumbi-Wangoo Road, upgrading Terakhong Primary Health Centre to a Community Health Centre, and setting up a Fire Services sub-station in Kumbi.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and assured that Go to Village events would be conducted soon to address their needs. He also highlighted the One Family One Livelihood scheme, which offers up to ₹10 lakh in loans with a 30% grant for IDP families.
