March 14, 2026 (IMP): Manipur Chief Minister Y. Khemchand Singh flagged off the improvement of the Imphal–Saikul Road project from Hundred Flower School to Sagolmang at Khundrakpam and assured the public that the project will be completed at the earliest. The flag-off event was accompanied by PWD Chief Engineer Chongtham Biswachandra Singh, officials of the department and contractors.
Earlier in the day, the CM, along with MLA of Thangmeiband AC Kh. Joykisan Singh, also inspected Khunthoknganbi Upper Primary School and Gurukul Hijam Dewan Junior High School in the Thangmeiband Assembly Constituency.
Later, Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh also inspected Naorem Birahari College in Khundrakpam, Imphal East, assessing the institution’s current conditions. The Chief Minister also briefly interacted with the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college.
