Manipur CSO COCOMI is all set to organise one mass public convention on 3rd May in Imphal.
The Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI), a major valley-based organisation, will host the major public convention at Khuman Lampak in Imphal on 3rd May.
For the said public convention, different sections of society are being mobilised, announced the organisation’s President K. Athouba on Tuesday.
Athouba said the mobilisation has been taking place over the period of the last one month. Athouba said the people of Manipur are eagerly waiting for the resolution of the crisis in the state. Athouba said the efforts are on to make sure all sections of society participate in the convention, so that it represents the entire population of the state.
COCOMI also asked the public to cease work on 3rd May to participate in the public convention. Athouba said some major decisions are expected to be taken at the public convention they are organising.
Several scholars, intellectuals, and community representatives are expected to participate in the event.
