January 20, 2025 : Majority of the telecommunication lines, including Internet services in Tamu township area, of Sagaing division in Myanmar, has been completely cut off.
The said communication black out has been effected since 14 of Jan, making the area completely cut off from the rest of the world and some resident are relying on cross-border networks penetrated from border areas.
The network cut off, since the first week of January, began after news of the city-wide rally in Tamu City began to spread and Internet services cease to work Internet Wi-Fi has stopped working, according to the news coming out from local.
