The Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) today launched its statewide “Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhod” signature campaign from Churachandpur, signaling a renewed push against what it termed as the betrayal of the people’s mandate.
The campaign was formally launched at the residence of Manga Vaiphei, Working President of MPCC and former Minister. Organized by the Churachandpur District Congress Committee (DCC), the event covered six Assembly constituencies of the district.
The programme was attended by Christopher Tilak, Secretary of AICC in charge of Manipur; Manga Vaiphei; Y. Zakir Hussain, Chairman of the Minority Department, MPCC; and Chongbaik, President of Churachandpur DCC.
