Feb 20, 2025: From two separate locations, security forces arrested three active members of KCP (PWG) on Wednesday.
The first arrests were made in Leirongthel Pitra Village, under Nongpok Sekmai Police Station of Thoubal District, and the individuals were identified as Khangembam Naotomba Singh alias Mutpa (25) and Elangbam Boinao Singh alias Aboy (27), both from Top Siphai Mayai Leikai, Imphal West District.
The other arrest was made at Akampat near NEILIT Gate, Imphal East District, and the individual was identified as Kshetrimayum Badrajit Singh alias Yangba (39) of Kongba Kshetri Leikai, Imphal East District. According to police, the arrested person is said to be involved in extortion activities and monetary demand threats to the general public and government offices.
