CorCom Exempts Public Attending Nupi Lal Observation During Its Shutdown

The CorCom, a conglomerate of several armed rebel groups in the region, has appealed to the public to participate in the “Anisuba Nupi Laal” event on December 12. The groups announced a 2-day shutdown in the state regarding the President’s visit.

In a new press release, the committee clarified that those attending the memorial ceremony will be exempt from the earlier total shutdown called by the CorCom and urged people to take part in the event as usual.

It may be mentioned that a total shutdown was announced by CorCom earlier, starting from 1:00 a.m. on the day of the President’s arrival and continuing for the entire duration of her stay in the state.
