The Government of Manipur has released the latest COVID-19 data, reporting two new positive cases on July 6—one each from Imphal West and Imphal East. The cumulative number of positive cases since June 1, 2025, now stands at 298 out of 1,056 samples tested.
As of the latest update, 13 patients have been discharged, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 243. No COVID-related deaths have been reported so far.
Currently, the state has 55 active cases. Among these, 53 patients are under home isolation, while 12 individuals in home isolation have recovered as of this report.
The Government of Manipur continues to monitor the situation closely and urges the public to remain calm and strictly adhere to COVID-appropriate behaviour, including mask usage, hand hygiene, and physical distancing.
